We collect and store certain personal and usage information when you interact with the Service, including:
- Account information: your email address and name, used to create and manage your account.
- Authentication & session data: your password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text) and session cookies/tokens used to keep you logged in.
- Chat history: the prompts, questions, and conversations you have with the Service, as well as AI-generated responses.

How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Authenticate you, manage sessions, and secure the Service.
- Process your queries and generate AI-powered results, including searching across Bhagavad Gita verses and related data.
- Analyze aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to improve performance, relevance, and user experience.
AI & Data Processing
We use AI models in two primary ways: (1) to search across Bhagavad Gita verses (including data sourced from the Kaggle dataset at this Kaggle dataset) and (2) to generate the final answers you receive. To support this, your prompts, chat history, and relevant context may be sent to third-party AI providers for processing.
Specifically, we use OpenAI's API for LLM calls that power both the search across verses and the generation of final responses. Your data is processed in accordance with OpenAI's terms and policies.
No Sale of Personal Data
We never sell your personal data. We may share information with third-party service providers who help us operate, maintain, or improve the Service, but they are only allowed to use the data on our behalf and under appropriate safeguards.

Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, improve it, and comply with legal obligations. We may also store aggregated or de-identified information for analytics and improvement for a longer period.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as using secure password hashing and restricting access to personal data to those who need it. However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You can manage some of your information through your account. If you would like to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, please contact us at this link.
